New Delhi, May 28: Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will commence a three-day tour of Karnataka, Goa, and Kerala starting Friday. From May 29 to May 31, he will participate in various government events, religious gatherings, and cultural celebrations.

According to official information, on May 29, the Vice President will attend a global event marking the 45th anniversary of the Art of Living Foundation in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Following this, he will also participate in the platinum jubilee celebrations at BDT College of Engineering in Davangere.

On May 30, he will be present at the state foundation day celebrations in Panaji, Goa. Afterward, he will visit the CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography located in Goa.

On May 31, C.P. Radhakrishnan is scheduled to visit the renowned Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatha Temple in Karnataka. On the same day, he will inaugurate the Siri Industrial Park in Belthangady.

Subsequently, the Vice President will travel to Kottayam, Kerala, where he will inaugurate the 140th anniversary celebration of ‘Deepika Malayalam Daily.’ Later, he will also attend a private event organized by Rajya Sabha MP C. Sadanandan Master in Kannur.

In recent news, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan appointed BJP MP Raghav Chadha as the new chairman of the Rajya Sabha petition committee. This committee was restructured on May 20.

Raghav Chadha received this responsibility after recently joining the Bharatiya Janata Party along with six other Rajya Sabha MPs, having left the Aam Aadmi Party. In April, Raghav Chadha, Ashok Mittal, Sandeep Pathak, Harbhajan Singh, Vikram Sahni, Swati Maliwal, and Rajinder Gupta switched from the Aam Aadmi Party to the BJP, reducing the Aam Aadmi Party’s representation in the Rajya Sabha from ten to just three.
