
Chandigarh, May 28: The Centralized Recruitment Committee (SSSC) has announced a recruitment drive for clerks in subordinate courts under the Punjab and Haryana High Court. A total of 1,265 clerk positions are available, and eligible candidates are invited to apply online. This initiative is backed by the District and Sessions Judges of Haryana.
The online application process commenced on May 26 at 4 PM and will close on June 23 at 4 PM. Interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the official SSSC portal before the deadline.
Applicants must hold a graduation degree in Arts or Science from a recognized university or institution. Additionally, candidates should be proficient in computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets. It is also required that applicants have passed their matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject, or have completed their 12th grade/BA/MA with Hindi as a subject before the cutoff date of June 23.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 42 years, calculated as of January 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on an online written examination (computer-based test), a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), and verification of original documents.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online. The fee is set at ₹710 for male and female candidates from Haryana’s Scheduled Caste (DSC)/Scheduled Caste (OSC)/BC-A/BC-B/ESM/EWS categories, ₹1,200 for all other male candidates, and ₹875 for all other female candidates. Candidates with disabilities from Haryana are exempt from the registration fee.
