Prime Minister Housing Scheme: Beneficiaries in Saharanpur Praise Modi Government for Fulfilling Their Dream of Home

Mumbai, May 28: Beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Housing Scheme in Saharanpur have expressed their gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government’s initiatives, stating that these programs have significantly transformed their lives. Residents Kusum Gupta, Manjula, and Satish Raj voiced their desire for Modi to be re-elected, emphasizing that the government’s schemes are directly benefiting the poor and needy.

Families benefiting from the housing scheme shared their past struggles of living in tin-roofed houses or rented accommodations. During the rainy season, water would leak through the tin roofs, and strong winds would create a constant sense of fear. Additionally, living in rental homes often subjected them to the whims of landlords, who could demand eviction at any time, leading to insecurity and distress.

However, with the implementation of the Prime Minister Housing Scheme, these beneficiaries now enjoy the stability of having a permanent home. They reported that the financial assistance from the scheme is deposited directly into their bank accounts, eliminating the need for intermediaries. This direct transfer has increased transparency and ensured that the benefits reach the intended recipients without any hurdles.

Kusum Gupta shared that she received approximately 250,000 rupees from the government to build a permanent house. Previously, her family lived in a rented place with a tin roof that leaked during rains, causing significant discomfort. She noted that the new home has brought positive changes to their lives, instilling a sense of security. Kusum praised Modi’s tenure, stating that all sections of society are content, with improved infrastructure and basic amenities like housing being made available.

Another beneficiary, Manjula from Indira Colony, described the Prime Minister Housing Scheme as a major support in her life. She recalled living in a dilapidated home, which caused constant worry. Thanks to the funds received through the scheme, she was able to construct a solid house, leading to a remarkable change in her life. Now, her family feels secure, and there is renewed hope for their children’s future.

Beneficiaries highlighted the extensive development that has occurred across the country during Modi’s 12 years in office. Improvements in roads, water supply, housing, and other essential services have been significant. They noted that the government’s initiatives are now reaching people without discrimination, resulting in an enhanced quality of life for poor and needy families.
