New Delhi, May 28: Harsh Malhotra has been appointed as the new president of the Delhi BJP. His appointment has been met with enthusiasm from several senior party leaders, who view it as a significant step towards strengthening the organization.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta congratulated Malhotra, stating, “Harsh Malhotra has been entrusted with this new responsibility to advance the Delhi organization, empower every BJP worker, and fortify the party. Our top leadership has given him this role, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations.”
Minister in the Delhi government, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, also hailed the appointment as a momentous day for the BJP. He remarked, “This is a very important day for our party. A senior leader, who is also serving as a minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, has been appointed as the president of Delhi. The BJP will become even stronger in Delhi.”
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari added, “Congratulations to Harsh Malhotra. Virendra Sachdeva’s tenure has come to an end, and it was quite successful. After 27 years, we have a president in him. Under Harsh Malhotra’s leadership, we will take the BJP in Delhi to new heights. I sincerely congratulate my colleague Harsh Malhotra. His selection is excellent, and I believe his tenure as state president will be outstanding.”
Former Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva welcomed the new president, stating, “Every responsibility in the party is significant. Responsibilities in our party keep changing. Today, Harsh Malhotra has been appointed as the president of Delhi. He is also our MP and has considerable experience. He possesses ample administrative and organizational expertise. Undoubtedly, the party will benefit from his experience, and we will work together to elevate it further.”
BJP leader Harsh Vardhan expressed his excitement, saying, “Our party has a new president, and we are all very enthusiastic. On behalf of everyone and all party workers, we wish the new president the best.”
