Chandigarh, May 28: The dream of securing a government job is a common aspiration for millions of youth across the country. If you are among them, the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) has announced an official notification inviting applications for 45 ITI apprenticeship positions across various trades for a duration of one year.
The available positions include 23 for Electricians, 10 for Programming and System Administration Assistants (PSAA), 2 for Draftsmen (Civil), 5 for Fitters, 2 for Welders, and 3 for Plumbers.
The online application process commenced on May 8, and the last date to apply is set for June 4. Eligible candidates interested in these positions are advised to complete their registration on the official National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal within the stipulated time.
Applicants must have passed the 10th grade from a recognized board with a minimum of 40% marks and hold a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or the State Council for Vocational Training.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on merit, shortlisting from the NAPS/NATS portal database, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a stipend as per the Apprentices Act of 1961.
Regarding age criteria, candidates must adhere to the provisions of the Apprentices Act of 1961 and its amendments.
