Infosys Reports 21% Increase in Q4 Profit, Announces ₹25 Dividend

Mumbai, April 23: IT giant Infosys released its financial results for the fourth quarter (Q4) of fiscal year 2026 on Thursday. The company reported a net profit of ₹8,501 crore, marking a 21% year-on-year increase from ₹7,033 crore in the same quarter last year.

During this quarter, the company’s revenue surged by 13.4% to ₹46,402 crore, up from ₹40,925 crore the previous year. Additionally, the operating profit for this quarter stood at ₹9,743 crore, compared to ₹8,575 crore in the same quarter last year.

For the entire fiscal year 2026, Infosys’s net profit rose by 10.20% to ₹29,440 crore, while operational income increased by 9.6% to ₹1.78 lakh crore, up from ₹1.62 lakh crore last year.

The company also announced a dividend of ₹25 per share for its investors for this quarter.

Looking ahead to fiscal year 2027, Infosys estimates that its income could grow between 1.5% and 3.5% (on a constant currency basis), with operating margins expected to remain between 20% and 22%.

In the March quarter, the company’s largest segment, Financial Services, saw a 5% increase in revenue.

CEO Salil Parekh stated that the company’s strong performance in fiscal year 2026 was significantly driven by large deals and its enterprise AI strategy. The total contract value (TCV) of large deals in this quarter reached $3.2 billion (approximately ₹30,100 crore), bringing the annual total to $14.9 billion (around ₹1,40,000 crore).

CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka announced plans to hire 20,000 new graduates in fiscal year 2027. By the end of the quarter, the total number of employees at Infosys was 328,594.

Additionally, Infosys has launched a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Japan as part of its global expansion strategy.

Before the results were announced, Infosys shares fell by 2.90% to close at ₹1,231.80 on the NSE. The company’s market capitalization stood at ₹5.15 lakh crore as of April 23.
