Tehran, May 16: A shocking report from Iranian media has drawn significant attention regarding U.S. President Donald Trump. Recent claims suggest that the Iranian government is preparing to introduce a proposal in Parliament offering a €50 million reward for Trump’s assassination.
According to Iran Wire, Ibrahim Azizi, chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, announced that military and security agencies of the Islamic Republic have drafted a plan called “Counter-Action.” This proposal includes the €50 million bounty for the killing of Donald Trump.
Azizi stated that Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) should be targeted under this plan. He emphasized their roles in the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as justification for their targeting.
Supporters of the government, including Ali Akbar Raefipour from the media outlet “Masaf,” previously claimed that financial resources amounting to $50 million had been secured for a campaign dubbed “Kill Trump.”
Iran Wire reported that the hacking group “Handala” issued a statement claiming they had allocated $50 million to eliminate Trump and Netanyahu. The group’s statement indicated that this amount would be awarded to any individual or group that executes the actual operation, with their communication and financial channels secured through encryption and anonymization technologies.
According to Iran International media, Azizi informed state television that since the onset of the war in March, lawmakers have prepared several bills, one of which addresses retaliatory actions by military and security forces.
Azizi asserted, “We believe that the President of the United States, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, and the CENTCOM commander should be targeted and face retaliation.”
He added, “It is our right. Just as our Imam was martyred, any Muslim or free person should confront the U.S. President in a similar manner.”
The proposed bill stipulates that if any individual or organization carries out this mission, the government will be obligated to award them €50 million.
In early March, a large-scale text message campaign targeting mobile users in Iran promoted an international initiative related to “the reward for Trump’s assassination.” Screenshots shared with Iran International corroborated this claim.
