Bengaluru, February 26: Karnataka’s Home Minister G. Parameshwara has expressed strong objections to statements made by Piyush Goyal regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He stated that Goyal’s remarks are entirely inappropriate and unacceptable under any circumstances.
In a conversation with reporters, Minister Parameshwara emphasized that this is not the first time such comments have been made about Rahul Gandhi. He noted that similar statements have been issued in the past with the intent to undermine Gandhi’s strong resolve.
Parameshwara asserted that no matter how many statements are made against Rahul Gandhi, he is fully capable of facing any situation. “He cannot be stopped,” he declared. The minister acknowledged that such comments are aimed at lowering Gandhi’s morale, but he believes no one will gain anything from this approach.
He pointed out that it is evident that Piyush Goyal cannot accept Rahul Gandhi under any circumstances. Goyal has consistently criticized Gandhi’s style of leadership, which is why he has made such statements, according to Parameshwara.
The Karnataka Home Minister reiterated that Rahul Gandhi is a leader who has significantly shaped politics and represents the Congress party. Given this context, it is expected that BJP members will comment on him.
Parameshwara concluded by stating that Rahul Gandhi is a leader of the people, who prioritizes their voices in politics. Therefore, it is only natural for the BJP to feel threatened by him.
