Rohini Acharya Reacts Strongly to Security Cut for Lalu and Rabri Devi

Patna, June 6: Rohini Acharya, the daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, has expressed her outrage over the reduction of security for her parents. She stated that there is no justification for maintaining a facade of security after such cuts. Additionally, she issued a warning to the government, asserting that if any harm comes to a family member, the consequences will be severe.

In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Acharya wrote, “The decision to reduce security for Lalu and Rabri Devi by the government of a chief minister accused in seven murders is clearly intended to harm the family.”

She further emphasized, “There is no point in maintaining a show of security after the cuts. In light of this, Rabri Devi has decided to send back the security personnel from her official residence.”

Acharya’s post continued, “The government must understand that the millions of people in Bihar are the true shield for Lalu, Rabri Devi, and their family. If Lalu, Rabri Devi, or any family member suffers even a scratch, the government, led by Samrat Chaudhary, cannot fathom the consequences.”

Moreover, in a Facebook post, she urged all supporters of Lalu to gather in large numbers at Rabri Devi’s official residence to send a clear and strong message to the chief minister, who she claims is acting out of vengeance. “You are the true security and shield for the Lalu family. The entire country and Bihar are watching how the first female chief minister and her family are being harassed, and the people of Bihar will respond firmly to every action taken out of revenge,” she wrote.

Former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi are also upset following the removal of their ‘Z Plus’ security. On Saturday, they returned the remaining police personnel assigned to their security. Similarly, Tejashwi Yadav sent back the security personnel stationed outside his official residence on Polo Road, leaving no security presence in the area.
