Trade Volume at Horgos Border Reaches Record High in January

Beijing, February 27: In January of this year, the Horgos border trade zone in China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region achieved remarkable results, with a total trade volume of 2,865 tons of goods. The trade value exceeded 30.76 million yuan, setting a new monthly record.

On February 26, the Horgos border trade area was bustling with activity, operating smoothly. Local residents can quickly enter the trade zone by verifying their identity through facial recognition. They can complete the entire process of order announcement, settlement, and payment with just a few taps on their mobile devices, making it efficient and convenient.

As a significant border port connecting Central Asia, West Asia, and Europe, the Horgos border trade zone is strengthening its economic foundation. It is leveraging the “Cloud Port” approach to create a digital trade ecosystem, revitalizing industrial development.
