Rahul Sinha Highlights Unity Against Mamata Banerjees Governance and Corruption

Kolkata, May 6: TMC leader Mamata Banerjee has made serious allegations regarding the election results, claiming that her party did not lose the elections but was “defeated.” She accused the Election Commission of playing a biased role throughout the electoral process. In response to Banerjee’s statements and the BJP’s victory, BJP leaders have shared their views.

BJP MP Rahul Sinha stated, “People have united against Mamata Banerjee’s governance, corruption, and divisive politics. This election marks an unprecedented moment, showing that change is possible when people come together. There is renewed hope for the development and progress of Bengal, and the Prime Minister’s vision will be realized.”

Commenting on Banerjee’s allegations of vote theft, Sinha remarked, “They are the thieves; their party is made up of thieves, which is why they accuse others without evidence. They should accept their defeat gracefully. Given the devastation and violence in Bengal, Mamata Banerjee should reflect rather than hold a press conference.”

On the accusations of electoral manipulation against Banerjee, Kalyan Chaubey, president of the All India Football Federation, said, “The loser often needs an excuse. Mamata Banerjee is making such excuses to hide her defeat and failure. The misgovernance during her rule, especially after the 2021 assembly elections, has led to increased political violence. The Human Rights Commission has expressed concern, and both the High Court and Supreme Court have also voiced their worries. The people of Bengal are distressed. Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, a new direction for the development of Bengal’s youth and women has emerged. This significant mandate is a result of the hard work of all party workers and the leadership of the Prime Minister and Home Minister.”

Meanwhile, BJP leader Kailash Chaudhary in Delhi stated, “Certainly, the people of Bengal have shown their trust in the Bharatiya Janata Party. This election was fought on the slogan of nationalism, and the public voted in favor of the BJP and Hindutva. Development will occur with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s double-engine government. This sentiment was not limited to Bengal; celebrations akin to Diwali and Holi were witnessed everywhere. I believe this victory will ensure the BJP remains in power there for the next 50 years.”
