Hundreds of Students Hold Candle March in Patna Demanding Release of Coaching Institute Director

Patna, June 4: The coaching controversy in Bihar’s capital has spilled onto the streets. On Thursday evening, hundreds of students gathered to demand the release of Roshan Anand, the director of Gyan Bindu Coaching Institute, by holding a candle march in protest of his arrest.

According to reports, a large number of students assembled at Kargil Chowk in Patna and marched with candles. They chanted slogans calling for Anand’s release and carried placards with messages demanding justice.

Rajesh Ranjan, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)-1 of Patna Town, stated that the protesting students were peacefully voicing their demands. He confirmed that all students were persuaded to disperse without incident.

In connection with the case, two guards from Khan Global Studies Coaching Institute have been arrested. The police also questioned the well-known teacher Khan Sir. Further actions will be determined based on the findings of the investigation.

It is noteworthy that the police are taking action following an incident of stone-pelting and vandalism at Khan Global Studies Coaching Institute in the Kadamkuan police station area of Patna. The police detained the two guards after a video of the incident went viral on social media.

On Tuesday night, the police received reports of stone-pelting and vandalism at the Khan Global Studies Coaching Institute. Upon receiving the information, a police team promptly arrived at the scene. After questioning local residents and reviewing CCTV footage, it was revealed that 15 to 20 individuals associated with Gyan Bindu Coaching Institute were involved in the incident.

Following this, the police arrested three individuals, including the director of Gyan Bindu Coaching Institute.
