Modi Set to Become Indias Longest-Serving PM, Claims Uttar Pradesh Minister

Gorakhpur, June 4: As the central government marks its 12 years in office, Uttar Pradesh’s Water Power Minister, Swatantra Dev Singh, has criticized the opposition, stating they are merely engaging in dynastic politics.

In a conversation with reporters, Singh asserted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the central government is nearing a milestone where Modi will surpass Jawaharlal Nehru as the longest-serving Prime Minister of India.

He emphasized that the BJP government operates with a spirit of service and dedication, ensuring that government schemes reach the most marginalized sections of society.

Singh announced that from June 5 to June 21, various events will be held to celebrate the government’s 12-year journey. These will include tree planting, cleanliness drives, public outreach programs, and dialogues with different community groups.

Notably, June 5 marks the birthday of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during which extensive tree planting and cleanliness initiatives will be conducted across the state. Special programs will be organized in government offices and schools, and MPs and MLAs will engage with prominent community figures to communicate the government’s achievements.

Targeting opposition parties, Singh remarked that the Samajwadi Party and Congress have lost their ideological footing, now resorting to appeasement politics without a clear agenda.

He noted that dynastic politics is waning in the country, while the BJP is gaining public trust through its focus on development, good governance, and welfare.

Additionally, Singh revealed that from June 11 to June 14, the party will host media interaction programs to showcase the achievements of the central government over the past 12 years and the Uttar Pradesh government over the past 9 years.

He claimed that the benefits of the BJP government’s policies have reached all sections of society, marking it as a significant achievement. This meeting and the minister’s assertive statements come at a time when the BJP is strategizing to bolster public support for its accomplishments at both the central and state levels.
