Major Police Operation Leads to Arrest of Four Suspects with Illegal Weapons

Noida, May 28: The Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate has been actively conducting operations against crime and illegal weapons. In a recent series of actions, police from Sector 142 and Dadri police stations arrested four suspects. Authorities seized illegal firearms, including a pistol, live cartridges, and knives from the accused.

Police from Sector 142 apprehended two suspects near the Krasa Cut based on local intelligence and beat policing. The arrested individuals were identified as Suraj Singh, son of Vinod Kumar, and Ankit Singh, son of Uday Bhan Singh. According to police reports, Suraj Singh was found in possession of an illegal .315 bore firearm and a live cartridge, while Ankit Singh had an illegal knife.

During police interrogation, it was revealed that Suraj Singh is originally from Gilora village in Badaun district but was residing in Yakubpur village in the Face-2 police jurisdiction. Ankit Singh, on the other hand, hails from Rasoolabad in Kanpur Dehat and was living in Kulesra village. Both suspects have been charged under the Arms Act.

Authorities are also investigating the criminal backgrounds of the arrested individuals. Meanwhile, the Dadri police have captured two suspects wanted in connection with a shooting incident. On May 26, a case was registered in the Dadri area involving threats and gunfire. Following the incident, a police team was formed to locate the suspects.

With the assistance of local intelligence, police arrested Sumit Bhati and Bholu, also known as Abhishek, near the Maycha underpass on Thursday. Police recovered an illegal .32 bore pistol and a live cartridge from their possession. Both suspects face charges under the BNS and Arms Act.

Police officials have stated that the campaign against criminals and illegal weapons will continue in the district. They have urged the public to report any suspicious activities to the police promptly for timely action.
