, 8 December: Bollywood actress Isha Deol has remembered her late and Bollywood icon Dharmendra with deep emotion. Expressing how much she misses him, promised to carry forward his legacy and values with full responsibility.
This is the first time the actress has shared her feelings on social media since the passing of her father. Dharmendra was born on 8 November in Punjab.
Along with a photo of her and her father, Isha Deol wrote a heartfelt post remembering him. She said, “My dear Papa, wherever you are, be it heaven or earth, we are always together. We have kept you deeply and lovingly in our hearts. The magical and priceless memories we shared, the lessons, guidance, unconditional love, respect, and strength you gave me as your daughter, no one else can replace.”
She added, “I miss you so much, Papa. Your warm hugs made me feel as safe as being wrapped in a cozy blanket. Holding your gentle yet strong hands made me feel the strongest. Your words ‘always remain humble, happy, healthy, and strong’ still echo in my ears. Dharmendra passed away on 24 November at his residence in Juhu, Mumbai. The actor had been battling age-related health issues and was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital for some time. He was discharged after his condition stabilized but passed away five days later. His death marks the end of an era in Hindi cinema.
