
New Delhi, May 24: As World Yoga Day approaches, the Ministry of AYUSH under the Healthy India Mission is encouraging citizens to integrate yoga into their daily routines. The ministry is actively sharing information about various asanas and their benefits, with a particular focus on Chakrasana.
Yoga experts highlight that Chakrasana is especially beneficial for individuals experiencing pain in the back, neck, or legs, as well as stiffness in the spine and shoulders. In today’s fast-paced, sedentary lifestyle, back pain, neck strain, and body stiffness have become common issues. These symptoms indicate a need for adequate movement and stretching, and Chakrasana has proven to be effective in addressing these concerns.
According to the ministry, Chakrasana not only strengthens and enhances flexibility in the body but also helps calm the mind. Regular practice of this asana improves posture and alleviates daily fatigue.
Moreover, practicing Chakrasana strengthens the back and spine, alleviates stiffness in the shoulders and neck, and increases overall body flexibility.
