Quetta (Balochistan), Pakistan, 18 August (Kiran News): Baloch Raji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS) has claimed responsibility for killing 24 Pakistani soldiers and five “federal government-backed agents” in 71 attacks carried out across Balochistan between 10 and 15 August. Many others were reportedly injured in these attacks.

BRAS spokesperson Baloch Khan stated in a media release that the group’s fighters targeted military camps, convoys, police stations, and so-called “death squad” members in coordinated operations across several districts.
According to The Balochistan Post, quoting the group’s spokesperson, the largest attack was in Basima, where fighters stormed a military camp, killing at least 13 soldiers, including a captain. Fighters also briefly captured a Levies station, set several government offices on fire, and destroyed vehicles.
BRAS also claimed responsibility for an IED blast targeting a military convoy in Gwadar’s New Town area, in which two soldiers were killed. The group reported conducting attacks in Quetta, Kech, Panjgur, Awaran, Sibi, Dera Bugti, and Nasirabad districts. Fighters used rockets and grenade launchers to bombard army posts.
BRAS confirmed that one of its fighters, Hasil Murad alias Sarban Baloch, was killed in a clash with a military-backed armed group in Jhao.
