Performance Benchmarks Hint at Powerful Hardware

The latest benchmark results, though varying slightly, suggest the device is currently undergoing pre-production testing:

  • First Listing:

    • Single-core score: 1,916

    • Multi-core score: 5,231

  • Second Listing:

    • Single-core score: 2,896

    • Multi-core score: 9,226

These scores highlight impressive processing power, attributed to the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite for Galaxy chipset — a custom-tuned version of Qualcomm’s most powerful SoC. The listings also confirm 12GB of RAM and the upcoming Android 16-based One UI 8, which is expected to debut on Samsung’s next generation of foldables.

Fold7 Will Join “Ultra” Branding Strategy

Samsung is rumored to be introducing a more premium “Ultra” variant in the Z Fold7 series lineup, but the standard model (SM-F966B) will still offer cutting-edge performance and multitasking capabilities. Earlier listings also revealed a Korean version (SM-F996N), suggesting a wide global rollout.

Launch Expected in July at New York Event

Samsung is expected to officially unveil the Galaxy Z Fold7 alongside the Z Flip7 in early July, during a dedicated Galaxy Unpacked event in New York. With the addition of Android 16, a more refined hinge design, and Ultra branding, the Fold7 lineup could set new benchmarks in the premium foldable category.
