
Beijing, May 21: iQOO has unveiled the iQOO 15T in China, marking its latest flagship smartphone designed for performance enthusiasts. This device showcases a premium design inspired by the iQOO 15 Ultra, featuring the innovative Future Capsule rear camera module and a sleek low-temperature matte-finish frame.
The iQOO 15T boasts a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display, offering an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 144Hz. With a resolution of 3168 x 1440 and peak brightness of up to 4500 nits, the BOE Q10+ panel supports HDR, P3 wide color gamut, 2592Hz PWM dimming, and various eye-comfort technologies.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU that can reach speeds of up to 4.21GHz, alongside an ARM G1-Ultra GPU. Additionally, it includes iQOO’s self-developed Q3 gaming chip, which supports real-time ray tracing, 2K super-resolution, and frame interpolation of up to 144FPS in compatible games. The device is equipped with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
Running on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, iQOO claims that the phone will maintain smooth performance for up to five years.
In terms of photography, the iQOO 15T features a dual rear camera setup led by a 200MP main camera, which includes a large 1/1.56-inch sensor, f/1.88 aperture, OIS, and CIPA 4.5-grade stabilization. It supports 4x lossless zoom, up to 40x digital zoom, and offers full focal-length portraits ranging from 23mm to 100mm. Additional features include Live Photos, Super Moon mode, night photography, professional video capabilities, and 8K video recording. Accompanying the main camera is a 50MP ultra-wide camera with macro support, while the front houses a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture and 1080p video recording.
The device is powered by an 8000mAh Blue Ocean battery utilizing second-generation semi-solid-state technology. It supports 100W fast charging, OTG reverse charging, and a direct power supply mode for gaming.
Other notable features include up to 4000Hz touch sampling, a 400Hz gyroscope, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, dual-frequency GPS, NavIC, USB Type-C, and dual nano-SIM 5G dual-active connectivity. The iQOO 15T also comes with stereo speakers, an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint scanner, Face Wake support, an infrared blaster, an X-axis linear motor, and IP68/IP69-rated protection with reinforced Rock Glass durability.
Pricing & Availability
The iQOO 15T is available in several configurations: the 12GB + 256GB model is priced at 3,799 yuan ($570), while the 16GB + 256GB variant costs 4,199 yuan ($630). The 12GB + 512GB version is available for 4,499 yuan ($675), and the 16GB + 512GB model is priced at 4,899 yuan ($735). The top-tier 16GB + 1TB variant retails for 5,699 yuan ($855). The smartphone is currently available for purchase in China, offered in Qingyun (colorful), Legend Edition (White), and Track Edition (Black) color options.
