Fortunately, no passengers were injured in the incident. The aircraft has been grounded for now, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will investigate the matter.

Official sources said on Saturday that DGCA reported the IndiGo Airbus A-321 aircraft struck the runway during a low-altitude go-around while landing at Mumbai airport due to bad weather. All passengers remained safe during the incident.
The DGCA has ordered an inquiry into the incident, and the aircraft has been grounded for inspection and repairs. The incident occurred at 3:06 am on Runway 27, when the rear part (tail) of the aircraft touched the runway during landing. Initial investigations suggest that the incident was caused by bad weather. No injuries were reported among passengers or crew members.

The company stated that the safety of passengers, crew, and the aircraft is its top priority.
