Shimla, Aug 11 (H.S.) – The Himachal Pradesh government has carried out an administrative reshuffle, transferring five IAS officers and assigning additional responsibilities to some. According to orders issued by the Department of Personnel, the changes will take immediate effect.
As per the order, 2007 batch IAS officer A. Shainamol, currently serving as Secretary (Administrative Reforms, Training & Foreign Assignments and Public Grievances), has been given additional charge of Secretary (AYUSH).
2008 batch IAS officer Rakhil Kahlon, who was holding additional charge as Secretary (Digital Technologies and Governance) and Water Resources Department, will now continue to serve in both positions on a regular basis.
2012 batch IAS officer Dr. Richa Verma has been appointed as Managing Director, Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (SIDC), a post earlier held by Rajeshwar Goyal. Dr. Verma will also continue to hold additional charge as Managing Director, Handicrafts & Handloom Corporation.
Similarly, 2019 batch IAS officer Ritika has been given additional charge of Additional Controller of Stores in the Industries Department, a responsibility earlier with Dr. Harish Gajju.
In another change, 2018 batch IAS officer Abhishek Verma, who was earlier posted as Director, Digital Technologies and Governance, will now serve as Director, Land Records. Meanwhile, 2014 batch IAS officer Dr. Nipun Jindal will continue as Director, Digital Technologies and Governance, and will also hold additional charge as Managing Director, Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC).
