
Mumbai, June 2: Salman Khan’s legal team has issued a notice to the makers of the film ‘Kala Hiran’, which is based on the blackbuck poaching case. The team has requested a halt to the film’s release.
A new controversy has emerged surrounding the film ‘Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy’. Reports indicate that Salman Khan’s legal representatives have sent a legal notice to those involved in the project.
According to the notice, the filmmakers have been instructed to stop the film’s release and remove all promotional materials, including posters and other publicity content. The legal notice also warns that failure to comply with these demands could lead to further legal action against the involved parties.
Directed by Bharat S. Shrinath and produced by Amit Jani, this film has already attracted attention for its controversial themes. Jani has previously been in the spotlight for supporting contentious projects, including films based on the murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal.
Following this legal dispute, uncertainty has grown regarding the future and release of ‘Kala Hiran’. Meanwhile, Jani’s Firefox Media Private Limited has released the first look poster of ‘Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy’.
According to the filmmakers, the movie is inspired by real-life legal battles and is packed with action, crafted in an international, Hollywood-style format. The newly released poster features the main character in an aggressive and mysterious pose against an eye-catching red and blue background, hinting at a suspense-filled action narrative. The film’s teaser is set to be released on June 20.
News of the film based on Salman’s ‘Black Buck’ case emerged on May 29. This film combines elements of courtroom drama and crime thriller, showcasing the infamous rivalry between Salman Khan and notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Filming has taken place in several cities in Uttar Pradesh, including Sambhal and Moradabad.
