New Delhi, September 7 (Daily Kiran) : BJP National President Nitin Naveen is set to embark on a two-day visit to Uttarakhand starting September 9. During this trip, he will lead crucial meetings focused on preparations for the upcoming assembly elections and discuss strategies to strengthen the party at the booth level.
According to a statement released by the BJP, Naveen will meet with senior leaders and officials to enhance the party’s organizational framework. He will also engage with the youth of the state and participate in special events organized by ex-servicemen and the Punjabi community.
Throughout his visit, Naveen will hold separate meetings with state officials and the state core committee. The BJP emphasizes that this trip aims to invigorate party workers and reinforce the connection between the party and the public ahead of the elections.
Naveen is scheduled to arrive in Nainital at 1:30 PM on September 9, followed by addressing the extended state working committee meeting in Haldwani at 3 PM. This significant meeting will cover organizational priorities, the promotion of welfare schemes, and strengthening party activities at the grassroots level.
On Wednesday evening, he will conduct a review meeting with state officials in Haldwani and preside over a high-level meeting of the state core committee. These discussions will focus on electoral strategies, organizational issues, and the current political landscape.
On the second day of his visit, Naveen will offer prayers at the Mahalaxmi Temple in Haldwani. He will also engage with the youth through a ‘Yuva Samvad’ program. Additionally, he plans to visit the Martyrs’ Memorial and participate in an ex-servicemen’s conference, as well as address the ‘Punjabi Gaurav Conference’ in Rudrapur.
It is noteworthy that elections for Uttarakhand’s 70-member assembly are scheduled for February-March 2027. Under Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s leadership, the BJP is striving for a third consecutive term in office.
