New Delhi, June 21: The administration has taken extensive precautions for the Re-NEET UG 2026 exam, ensuring a high level of vigilance nationwide. To prevent any disruptions during the exam, stringent security measures have been implemented. This critical examination, attended by over 2.2 million candidates, has strict restrictions on electronic devices, along with a multi-layered security setup at examination centers.
In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, candidates entered the exam centers after undergoing rigorous checks. Security agencies were fully alert throughout the process. Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister, Brajesh Pathak, stated that the NEET exam was being conducted peacefully and successfully. He emphasized the government’s commitment to safeguarding the interests of youth and students under all circumstances.
Meanwhile, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, BJP MLA and former Deputy Chief Minister C.N. Ashwath Narayan noted that extensive preparations had been made for the re-examination. He assured that the government has taken this process very seriously and implemented several precautionary measures to ensure a flawless examination.
BJP MP Tejasvi Surya from Bengaluru also extended best wishes to all students participating in the exam. He acknowledged the hard work students have put in for this examination and expressed hope that everyone would perform to the best of their abilities.
In Bhivandi, Maharashtra, five examination centers were established for the Re-NEET UG for the first time, accommodating a total of 2,424 candidates. A unique example of communal harmony was observed during the exam period, as a mosque opened its doors to parents and guardians of all faiths. Rais Ahmad Nadvi, president of Darul Uloom Bhivandi, shared details about this initiative and the arrangements made for visitors.
In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, special vigilance was exercised regarding security. ACP Preeti Vijay Tiwari reported that the first layer of security had already been deployed. Under armed police supervision, exam materials were safely transported from the bank to various centers. She mentioned that the entire security plan was prepared under the guidance of the police commissioner and directives from all DCPs.
Across the nation, the Re-NEET UG 2026 exam is being conducted peacefully amid strict security arrangements and administrative vigilance.
