Sanjay Singh Criticizes Om Prakash Rajbhars Remarks on Azamgarh

Lucknow, June 3: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has sharply responded to remarks made by Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar. Rajbhar described Azamgarh as a stronghold of the Samajwadi Party, claiming that most terrorists are apprehended from there.

In an interview with a news agency, Singh emphasized that Azamgarh has produced many talented individuals and that tarnishing the reputation of the entire district based on a few incidents is unjust. He accused the BJP of attempting to damage Azamgarh’s image.

Sanjay Singh criticized the Yogi government over issues of crime and law enforcement, citing recent data from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). He noted that Uttar Pradesh continues to rank among the top states for serious crimes such as rape, murder, and robbery. Singh alleged that the government is merely trying to project an improved law and order situation through claims and publicity, while the reality on the ground tells a different story.

He remarked that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is effective in delivering speeches and making strong statements, but there is a lack of substantial action towards solving real problems.

Targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party, Singh labeled it as the “Bharatiya Jumla Party,” which he claims misleads the public with grand promises. He pointed out the deteriorating education system in the state, with schools closing down and ongoing concerns about the quality of mid-day meals.

Sanjay Singh also criticized the government’s healthcare services, stating that many public hospitals are struggling with a lack of basic facilities. He claimed that the health system is in such disarray that adequate resources are often unavailable.

Additionally, he raised concerns about youth unemployment, describing it as a serious issue in the state. He referenced incidents of exam paper leaks for competitive tests, asserting that the future of young people is constantly being jeopardized. According to him, the government has failed to provide job opportunities, leading to growing despair among the youth.

Sanjay Singh also responded to Jagadguru Rambhadracharia’s claim about the NDA forming the government in the upcoming elections. He sarcastically suggested that if Rambhadracharia is making political predictions, he should first clarify which assembly constituency he intends to contest.
