
Lucknow, June 2: The political landscape in Uttar Pradesh has stirred following Jagadguru Swami Ramabhadraacharya’s assertion that the BJP will bloom for a third consecutive time in the state. Minister Anil Rajbhar expressed his support for this statement, confidently stating that the BJP will secure its position once again.
During a conversation in Lucknow, Minister Rajbhar emphasized the reverence held for Jagadguru Ramabhadraacharya across the nation. He described him as a saint, a spiritual leader, and a remarkable personality. Rajbhar noted that any statement made by such a respected figure deserves acknowledgment and carries significant weight. He affirmed that the BJP is receiving overwhelming support from the public, which will lead to their victory.
In response to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s announcement to rename Fazil Nagar to ‘Pavagadh’, Rajbhar remarked that all colonial symbols and signs should have been changed long ago. He criticized parties like Congress and the Samajwadi Party for promoting and glorifying these symbols. Since the Modi government took charge at the center and Yogi Adityanath in the state, efforts to remove such symbols have been ongoing.
Regarding the recent attack on TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, Union Minister Anupriya Patel stated that any attack on political leaders is unacceptable in a democracy. She affirmed that their party does not support such incidents and that the state government has already ordered an investigation into the matter.
As for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Rajbhar cautioned against premature comments on seat numbers. He mentioned that five parties are part of their alliance, and they will convene at the appropriate time to make decisions.
He noted that the 2027 elections are approaching rapidly, with only a few months left. The party has been preparing for these elections for a long time. Rajbhar confidently asserted that the party will achieve a 100 percent strike rate in the seats they contest. He also emphasized the need for justice for the victims in the Ghaziabad case.
In a jab at the India Alliance, he remarked on its current state, highlighting the situations in Tamil Nadu and Bengal. He concluded by stating that the alliance has fragmented and that the public is favoring the NDA, predicting a third consecutive term for the NDA in Uttar Pradesh.
