Ambedkarnagar, August 8: Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has launched a sharp attack on opposition parties. Speaking in Ambedkarnagar, he addressed issues such as women’s reservation, paper leaks, law and order, and Rahul Gandhi‘s recent visit to Prayagraj.
Rajbhar emphasized the importance of women’s representation in politics, stating that women constitute nearly half of the country’s population and deserve adequate representation. He recalled Prime Minister Modi‘s proposal for 33 percent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies.
He questioned the opposition, asking who opposed the bill when it was presented in the assembly. Rajbhar asserted that the public sends representatives to discuss issues of public interest, not to create drama outside the assembly.
Referring to a recent incident in Azamgarh, Rajbhar mentioned that a young man from the Rajbhar community was assaulted, resulting in an eye injury. He confirmed that an FIR has been filed, and four individuals have been named as suspects.
On the topic of paper leaks, Rajbhar criticized the Samajwadi Party (SP), stating that while SP leaders are now discussing paper leaks, they should remember the situation during their own government. He alleged that papers were sold and exams were passed through cheating during that time.
Rajbhar claimed that accusations of selling jobs were prevalent during the SP regime. He also raised questions about law and order during the Congress and SP governments. He suggested that the opposition should learn from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath about how recruitment is conducted. He highlighted that the Yogi government has provided over nine lakh government jobs without any bribes.
