Bhatar, August 8: Arjun Singh, a minister in the West Bengal government, launched a strong attack on Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha. He accused Gandhi of being an anti-national politician aiming to destabilize the country. Singh also addressed the arrest of former TMC MLA Sanat De.
During a press conference on Saturday, Singh stated, “Rahul Gandhi is an anti-national figure and politician. This anti-national politician wants to destabilize the entire country. I want to emphasize that there are laws against those who leak papers and those involved. This does not mean that you can damage public property across India or exploit small children for wrongful acts.”
He further commented, “When protesters are prosecuted, they question why the case was filed. Just as children at home are guided when they misbehave, Rahul Gandhi should also be guided. These children are the future of the nation.”
Singh added, “Indian law states that anyone who commits a mistake should face punishment. Otherwise, it will become a tradition to incite children and make them do anything. I urge all parents to exercise some control over their children to prevent them from getting involved in wrongful activities, as this is part of an agenda from Soros and America, which India must avoid.”
Regarding the arrest of former TMC MLA Sanat De from Naihati, Singh expressed satisfaction, saying, “It is very pleasing that he has been arrested. The people here are very happy, especially because he committed many atrocities in 2021. He attacked women’s wing workers and also assaulted a procession following the Abhaya incident.”
He remarked that a person who was once an ambulance driver now possesses assets worth a thousand crores. He has multiple warehouses and even converted a bus terminus into his storage facility. “He was a wrongdoer, and that is why people are glad he has been arrested,” Singh concluded.
