BJP Celebrates 47th Foundation Day, Claims Historic Transformation of Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, April 6: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated its 47th foundation day at the state headquarters with enthusiasm and dignity on Monday. On this occasion, the state president and Minister of State for Finance, Pankaj Chaudhary, stated that the BJP has accomplished the historic task of transforming Uttar Pradesh from a ‘Questioning State’ to ‘Answering State.’

During the event, Pankaj Chaudhary, along with State General Secretary (Organization) Dharmapal Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak, hoisted the party flag. A large number of officials, public representatives, and party workers were present.

In his address, Pankaj Chaudhary noted that on April 6, 1980, under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani, the BJP was established and has now become the world’s largest political party. He emphasized that the party’s journey is the result of struggle, sacrifice, and dedication. He highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’ has become the foundation of the nation’s policy and intent. BJP governments have worked to free the country from corruption, dynastic politics, and appeasement.

Referring to Uttar Pradesh, the state president mentioned that the state once grappled with issues of law and order, employment, basic amenities, and corruption. “There were questions everywhere, but no answers,” he remarked. Pankaj Chaudhary claimed that the BJP’s double-engine government has steered the state away from ‘anarchy’ and ‘mafia rule’ towards a path of development.

He stated that today, Uttar Pradesh is recognized for its improved law and order, infrastructure development, investment, and new employment opportunities. In 2014, the people of Uttar Pradesh gave the BJP a historic mandate, leading to Narendra Modi becoming Prime Minister, which marked the beginning of a new era of development and good governance in the country. Following the formation of the BJP government after the 2017 assembly elections, development gained new momentum.

Pankaj Chaudhary asserted that the BJP is not just a political party but a commitment to nation-building. He urged party workers to strengthen the organization at the booth level and to spread the party’s ideology to every household.

State General Secretary (Organization) Dharmapal Singh also extended his wishes on the foundation day, stating that the dedication and hard work of the party workers have made the BJP a robust organization. He called on workers to embrace the spirit of ‘Nation First’ and to continuously work for the welfare of society and the country. He urged them to commit to spreading this ideology and accelerating the nation-building campaign.
