Orchha, April 9: Hemant Khandelwal, the President of the Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), addressed a district-level organizational meeting in Orchha, Niwari district, on Thursday. He emphasized the party’s cadre-based strength and commitment to grassroots work.
While addressing the party workers, Khandelwal highlighted that since its inception, the BJP has established a distinct identity as a disciplined, ideologically committed cadre-based organization.
He stated that dedication and unwavering loyalty to the party’s core principles have been its greatest strengths.
Earlier on Thursday, Khandelwal participated in a ‘small team’ meeting, where he engaged directly with workers and local representatives.
During the meetings, he reviewed organizational activities and gathered feedback from grassroots workers regarding the implementation of government schemes and party programs.
Khandelwal noted that the enthusiasm of the workers and their trust in the organization are the main forces driving the BJP’s expansion in the state.
He urged workers to strengthen the organization at the booth level and maintain continuous contact with the public. He also stressed the importance of ensuring that the benefits of the ‘double-engine’ government’s welfare schemes reach every eligible individual.
According to the state BJP, this meeting is part of an initiative to strengthen the organization ahead of upcoming political activities in Madhya Pradesh.
Khandelwal also offered prayers at a prominent temple in Orchha. Founded in the 16th century by Bundela ruler Rudra Pratap Singh, Orchha is known for its historical and religious significance, further developed during the reign of rulers like Veer Singh Deo.
The town is famous for its grand temples and palaces, including the renowned Ram Raja Temple, where Lord Ram is worshipped as a king. Khandelwal sought blessings for the prosperity of the state and the welfare of its people.
