Mumbai, April 10: Renowned singer Sonu Nigam recently took to social media to share a nostalgic video featuring moments spent with Arijit Singh. After a long gap of 15 years, Arijit visited Sonu’s home, making the occasion particularly special for both artists.
In his post, Sonu expressed pride in Arijit’s journey over the years, stating, “My dear Arijit came to my home. I am so proud of his journey through these years. He knows how much I love him.”
During the visit, Arijit brought a plant as a gift, which now adorns the temple in Sonu’s home, further enriching the memory of their reunion. Sonu highlighted that this gesture made their meeting even more memorable.
The gathering also included discussions about music and some impromptu performances, adding to the joy of the occasion. Sonu’s young son, Shashwat, and his friend Magic were present as well. Shashwat entertained everyone by whistling and singing “Suna Suna,” bringing smiles all around. Sonu mentioned that he might share a video of Shashwat’s performance soon.
Additionally, Sonu praised Arijit’s musical journey, expressing immense pride in his achievements. Notably, Arijit had recently surprised fans by announcing his retirement from playback singing. However, he later clarified that while he has stopped taking on new songs, previously recorded tracks will continue to be released.
