Rohini Acharya Takes a Jibe at Bihar CM Nitish Kumars Rajya Sabha Journey

Patna, April 10: In a significant political shift in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has arrived in Delhi. He is set to take the oath as a member of the Rajya Sabha on Friday. Amidst this backdrop, Rohini Acharya has made a pointed remark about him.

Rohini Acharya shared a satirical poster on her official social media handle, X. She wrote, “Today, uncle has left for Delhi; opportunism and betrayal always have their consequences. Your chair will be snatched away in a day or two.”

The poster depicts Nitish Kumar leaving Bihar with a bag, tears in his eyes, symbolizing the end of his political tenure.

It is noteworthy that he departed for Delhi on Thursday afternoon with his party leaders and ministers, including JDU’s National Executive President Sanjay Jha and Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary.

From the BJP camp, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Agriculture Minister Ramkripal Yadav also headed to Delhi.

Nitish Kumar is scheduled to take the oath as a Rajya Sabha member on April 10. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha on March 16 and resigned from his MLC position on March 30.

Sources indicate that during this visit, he may also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

He is expected to return to Patna by April 11 or 12, after which he is likely to resign from his position as Chief Minister. Following this, the NDA is expected to announce a new Chief Minister.

Speaking to reporters in Delhi, he explained his decision, stating, “I have done a lot of work in Bihar. Now I feel I should stay here, and that’s what I am doing.”

He further added, “I will step down from my position there and work here. I will resign in three or four days. New people will be appointed as Chief Minister and ministers.”
