This year’s exam saw impressive performances from students across the state, with many young aspirants achieving remarkable scores, solidifying their positions for upcoming counselling and admissions into premier institutions.
Engineering Toppers: Excellence at the Top
In the Engineering stream, Anirudh Reddy has claimed the top position, followed closely by Bhanu Charan Reddy, who secured second rank, and Yashwanth, who stood third. Ram Charan Reddy and Bhupathi Nikhil followed in fourth and fifth positions respectively.
These high-ranking students are now likely to have first preference during counselling and seat allotment rounds, especially for top-tier engineering institutions in Andhra Pradesh such as JNTU Kakinada, JNTU Anantapur, and Andhra University.
Agriculture and Pharmacy Toppers: Young Talent Rising
In the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream, Sai Harshavardhan led the chart, demonstrating academic excellence and dedication. He was followed by Nishant Reddy in second place and Mallesh Kumar in third. Shanmukh and Satya Venkat completed the top five.
These toppers will have a significant advantage in securing seats at institutions like Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University and other reputed colleges under the agriculture and pharmacy domain.
Weightage and Ranking Criteria
This year, the AP EAPCET followed the 75:25 weightage formula, giving 75% weightage to EAPCET marks and 25% to Class 12 (Intermediate) scores. The exam, which carried a total of 160 marks, required candidates to perform strongly in both segments to ensure a competitive rank.
Students scoring above the qualifying threshold will now enter the next phase — counselling and seat allotment, expected to begin shortly. APSCHE has advised students to regularly visit the official EAPCET website (https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in) for updates on document verification, counselling dates, and choice filling for courses and colleges.
Bright Futures Ahead
The announcement marks a proud moment for students, parents, and educators alike. Toppers like Anirudh Reddy and Sai Harshavardhan represent the dedication and academic excellence that AP EAPCET encourages among aspiring engineers, doctors, and scientists of tomorrow.
As the focus now shifts to counselling and admissions, congratulations pour in from all quarters for the outstanding performers and all qualifiers of AP EAPCET 2025.
