
New Delhi, April 28: Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, along with senior leader Manish Sisodia, visited Raj Ghat on Tuesday to pay their respects at Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial. They were accompanied by party legislators and a large number of supporters.
The leaders paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, reaffirming their commitment to the path of Satyagraha and the ideals of Gandhi. After offering their respects at Raj Ghat, Kejriwal stated that he fully respects the country’s judiciary. However, he expressed that current circumstances have compelled him to adopt the path of Satyagraha.
He expressed complete confidence that with Gandhi’s blessings, they would continue to navigate this challenging path with dedication and resolve. Kejriwal also acknowledged that the judicial system has provided him relief, allowing him to move freely today, for which he is grateful.
Sharing his sentiments on the social media platform ‘X’, Kejriwal wrote about visiting Raj Ghat with Sisodia and others to honor Gandhi. He prayed for continued strength in their commitment to the path of Satyagraha.
Meanwhile, Sisodia, after paying tribute at Raj Ghat, remarked that Gandhi always inspired the pursuit of truth and non-violence. He emphasized that fighting for truth and practicing Satyagraha with inner strength is Gandhi’s greatest lesson. He noted that visiting Raj Ghat has further strengthened his resolve, and he is committed to following the path shown by Gandhi.
