Alongside him were CM Yogi Adityanath, BJP’s national leadership, and a large number of female participants. The event featured traditional welcomes, including a wooden artifact presented to the Prime Minister by District Panchayat President Poonam Maurya.

Various organizations gifted products linked to the Geographical Indication (GI) tag, such as Zardozi, peacock motifs, Panchmukhi Ganesh idols, and symbols of Namo Ghat as mementos. CM Yogi began his address with a chant of ‘Har-Har Mahadev,’ praising Prime Minister Modi as the ‘architect of New India.’

He emphasized that the nation is rapidly advancing towards a new direction of development, realizing the concept of holistic growth. Highlighting Varanasi’s transformation, CM Yogi stated that the city is re-establishing itself as a center of spiritual consciousness. He mentioned that in recent years, development projects worth thousands of crores have been implemented in Varanasi, with many more in progress. The Prime Minister is also set to inaugurate and lay the foundation for several projects worth thousands of crores.

Focusing on women’s empowerment, the Chief Minister affirmed the commitment of both the central and state governments to women’s rights. He referenced steps taken towards providing 33% reservation for women in Parliament and state assemblies, accusing opposition parties of attempting to obstruct these efforts.

CM Yogi also highlighted the Prime Minister’s vision of societal development, which categorizes the community into four groups: women, the poor, youth, and farmers. He stated that the government is progressing with all these groups in mind. Despite the sweltering heat, the large turnout of women was seen as a sign of public support.
