PM Modi Celebrates BJPs Resounding Victory in Gujarat Local Elections

Ahmedabad, April 28: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has once again showcased its dominance in the Gujarat local body elections, achieving a remarkable victory. The party has secured control over all 15 municipal corporations in the state. Additionally, it has made significant gains in municipalities, district panchayats, and taluka panchayats.

Voting took place for 15 municipal corporations, 84 municipalities, 34 district panchayats, and 260 taluka panchayats, with a total of 9,200 seats contested. The results declared on Tuesday positioned the BJP as the leading party in the state.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to the people of Gujarat, stating that the bond between the state and the BJP has strengthened. He noted that the citizens have given a strong mandate to the BJP in the recent elections for municipal corporations, municipalities, taluka panchayats, and district panchayats.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the electorate has shown trust in the politics of good governance and the exemplary work of the state government. He assured that the BJP will work even harder to elevate Gujarat to new heights of development in the future.

Modi also praised the BJP workers in Gujarat, acknowledging their commitment to addressing the public’s issues, which has made the party the preferred choice for the people time and again.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel thanked the citizens for their support, stating that the public has reaffirmed their faith in Prime Minister Modi’s vision for politics and development.

He mentioned that every question raised by the public during the election was addressed, and the people of Gujarat rejected negative politics. The Chief Minister asserted that the citizens have supported the BJP in advancing the vision of a developed India.

Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi remarked that the people of Gujarat have once again led the BJP to victory. He highlighted that the party has won in every village and city.

Sanghvi noted that while several political parties attempted to mislead the public, the people of Gujarat chose the politics of development and trust. He extended congratulations to the BJP state president and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on their victory.

He added that BJP workers operate like a united family and will continue to accelerate development in the state’s villages and cities. Sanghvi claimed that many opposition parties faced significant setbacks, with some even losing their deposits.
