Amit Shah Promises Change in West Bengal as BJP Aims for Victory

Kolkata, April 15: Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public rally in Falakata, West Bengal, on Wednesday. He urged voters to establish a BJP government in the state, asserting that the party has successfully governed Tripura, Assam, and Bihar. “We will not allow infiltrators to enter here,” he declared.

Shah praised Prime Minister Modi for liberating the nation from terrorism, revoking Article 370, constructing the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, and eradicating Naxalism. He emphasized that the BJP government would expel every infiltrator from Bengal.

Targeting the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government, Shah stated, “Mamata didi, we BJP members are not afraid of your attacks. I declare today that no goon of Mamata Banerjee will touch you in this election. Listen, Mamata’s goons, after May 5, a BJP government will be established here. Stay at home on April 23, or we will deal with you directly after May 5.”

He highlighted the lack of safety for women in West Bengal, citing incidents of violence against women in places like Sandeshkhali, where TMC goons have acted with impunity. “Mamata Banerjee has said nothing about these atrocities. She should be ashamed for advising women not to go out after 7 PM. I assure mothers and sisters that after May 5, you can step out even after 2 AM without fear,” he added.

Shah promised that under a BJP government, no one would be allowed to have multiple marriages. He vowed to combat “love jihad” and “land jihad” vigorously. Additionally, he announced plans to grant land rights to tea garden workers and increase their wages to 500 rupees within two years. The funds deducted for provident funds would be returned to them.

He also mentioned the establishment of model schools in tea gardens and promised financial support of 3,000 rupees for every worker. “Mamata didi, listen carefully, your time is up. It is now BJP’s turn. The next Chief Minister of Bengal will be someone born and raised in Bengal, who speaks Bengali,” he asserted.

Shah accused Mamata Banerjee of being involved in corruption worth 10,000 crores through various scams. He urged the public to support the BJP, promising that every single rupee would be returned to the people of West Bengal.
