Chandigarh, April 15: A significant opportunity has emerged for young individuals aspiring to kickstart their professional careers with the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (NHPC), a government-owned ‘Navratna’ company. NHPC has officially announced the recruitment for 182 apprentice positions across various units.
The available positions include 24 Graduate Apprentice roles, 41 Diploma Apprentice roles, and 117 ITI Apprentice roles.
The online application process for these positions commenced today, April 15, at 11 AM, and the deadline for applications is set for May 6. Interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the official website until 5 PM on the last date.
Applicants must have completed their 10th grade from a recognized institution or university, along with relevant ITI, diploma, graduation, or master’s degrees in the respective trades. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 30 years, calculated as of the application date. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on merit, followed by shortlisting and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a stipend ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 per month, depending on the position.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official NATs or NAPs portal. After registering, they can navigate to the NHPC official website. On the homepage, they should go to the career section and click on “Apply Now” for apprentice recruitment. Candidates must fill in all required information in the form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size. Finally, they should review the registration form and submit it. It is advisable to print a copy of the application form for future reference.
