Patna, April 15: Senior BJP leader Shah Nawaz Hussain has responded to a statement made by TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee. He asserted that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s departure from West Bengal is certain on May 4, and the people of Bengal are ready to show TMC’s goons the exit.
While speaking to the media in Patna, Hussain remarked that Banerjee is haunted by the fear of electoral defeat. He quoted a saying, “To a blind man in the monsoon, everything appears green.” He suggested that those who engage in hooliganism see thugs everywhere. However, he emphasized that this time, TMC’s goons will be shown the door, paving the way for a BJP government in West Bengal.
Hussain expressed his happiness over Samrat Chaudhary becoming the Chief Minister of Bihar, stating that the NDA government has now taken charge in the state. He noted that the people of Bihar are delighted with this change. He acknowledged the contributions of Nitish Kumar but highlighted the need for Bihar to progress in industry and employment. He called for the establishment of numerous factories and investments, reflecting the aspirations of the people.
He reiterated that Samrat Chaudhary has made it clear that there will be no room for hooliganism in Bihar. Responding to RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s comments, Hussain suggested that Yadav is venting his frustrations out of jealousy. As the son of Lalu Yadav, Yadav had dreams of becoming Chief Minister, which have not materialized, leading to his discontent over Chaudhary’s appointment.
Hussain also mentioned the Women’s Reservation Bill, stating that the empowerment of women and the rule of law will now be genuinely established. He expressed optimism that half of the country’s population would receive justice through this bill. There is a wave of happiness across the nation, and he extended gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for increasing the number of seats for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies, ensuring 33% reservation.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Raj Bhushan Chaudhary remarked that PM Modi is consistently working for the upliftment of women. He countered Abhishek Banerjee’s statement, questioning who the real goons are and who is aiding illegal immigrants, especially with elections approaching. He stated that the opposition’s role is merely to speak, and the BJP’s leader Samrat Chaudhary has taken command.
