Lucknow – Monsoon activity has intensified across Uttar Pradesh, bringing heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning alerts to a vast stretch of the state. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red and orange alert for over 40 districts, warning residents of potential flooding, waterlogging, crop damage, and lightning risks over the next 24 to 48 hours.
