Opposition Leaders Urge Unity with Congress at India Bloc Meeting

New Delhi, June 9: Congress MP Imran Masood has shared his thoughts on the recent ‘India’ Bloc meeting. In an interview, he stated that attempts to undermine democracy are ongoing within the country. He highlighted that after winning elections in Bengal, there are now conspiracies to dismantle the party. Masood emphasized the need for everyone to unite and support Congress.

He remarked that the BJP aims for a monopoly over the country, seeking to silence any dissent and eliminate opposition. Regional parties must recognize that without Congress, the fight against the BJP is nearly impossible. The situation involving Mamata Banerjee illustrates a complete assault on democracy.

Masood further noted that regional parties lack the strength to challenge the BJP effectively. He believes that only Rahul Gandhi shows the potential to stand firmly against them.

Regarding statements from Akhilesh Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav about the ‘India’ Bloc meeting, Congress leader Hussain Dalwai mentioned that Rahul Gandhi has consistently met their demands. Congress is aware of this and strives to bring everyone together.

RJD MP Manoj Kumar Jha commented that discussions were open and constructive. He assured that Congress provided confidence and that strategies were discussed on five key points aimed at influencing public opinion.
