New Delhi, September 12 (Daily Kiran) : The BRICS Summit is currently taking place at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Throughout the day, leaders from BRICS nations engaged in discussions, culminating in a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
PM Modi shared a video on the social media platform X, featuring key moments from the day’s events. The footage includes a significant scene where three powerful leaders—Modi, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Russian President Vladimir Putin—are seen conversing together.
This interaction is particularly noteworthy, as it suggests improved coordination and dialogue among the three leaders. The video also includes a segment of Modi’s address during the BRICS meeting, where he emphasized that if the future is shared, the right to shape it should also be shared. He urged efforts to transform the Global South from being ‘rule takers’ to ‘rule shapers.’
Additionally, Modi announced that the declaration from the 2026 BRICS summit in Delhi was adopted unanimously. The leaders also participated in a tree-planting ceremony, led by Modi, and visited the ‘India Innovates Exhibition.’
