Jaipur, May 14: The alleged masterminds behind the NEET paper leak, Mangilal and Dinesh Binwal, are now under investigation by the Special Operations Group (SOG). The SOG is scrutinizing their wealth, political connections, and financial transactions. Relatives maintain that the brothers are innocent and only involved in real estate, not any examination racket.
On November 6, 2025, Dinesh Binwal proudly announced on social media that five children from their family secured admissions to government medical colleges through NEET. However, family members refused to identify the fifth candidate mentioned in the post.
Investigators suspect that Mangilal’s son, who took NEET-2026 this year, might have accessed the leaked question paper. The ongoing investigation into the Rajasthan NEET-2026 paper leak has now brought the Binwal brothers into the spotlight. Authorities accuse them of distributing the leaked papers across the state.
According to sources from the Rajasthan SOG, the brothers allegedly obtained the leaked exam paper from Gurugram on April 26, just a week before the exam, after paying an advance of 3 million rupees. Investigators believe the leaked paper was distributed to over 1,000 candidates throughout Rajasthan.
The SOG is now delving into the brothers’ financial backgrounds, political ties, and business activities. Mangilal and Dinesh Binwal reside in a large farmhouse spanning approximately 2,000 square yards in Jamwa Ramgarh, about 30 kilometers from Jaipur, along with their extended family. They were arrested on May 9 following intelligence inputs related to the NEET paper leak case. Their farmhouse is located less than a kilometer from the Jamwa Ramgarh police station, and locals recognize the brothers for their luxurious lifestyle.
The accused have claimed that influential individuals are being shielded during the investigation. Meanwhile, investigators allege that Mangilal and Dinesh Binwal purchased the leaked NEET paper from Gurugram and distributed it to hundreds of candidates across Rajasthan.
Mangilal’s wife, Sonu, has denied any involvement of her husband in the paper leak racket. She stated that he is engaged in the property business and does not buy leaked exam papers, expressing limited knowledge about the ongoing investigation.
The brothers’ mother, Prabhu Devi, described the case against her sons as a conspiracy. She asserted that some people are envious of her children due to their intelligence and success. “If we were involved in such activities, would we be facing these difficulties now?” she questioned.
When asked who she believes is targeting the family, she refrained from naming anyone directly but reiterated that others are jealous of their success.
Sources indicate that the SOG conducted raids in Jaipur, Jaipur Rural, Sikar, and Jhunjhunu following intelligence inputs regarding the alleged paper leak.
During questioning, investigators reportedly identified a NEET candidate accused of circulating the leaked paper with several others. This candidate allegedly named his father, Mangilal, and uncle, Dinesh, leading to their eventual arrest.
