Lucknow, June 10: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi marks 4,399 days in office, he has become the longest-serving public servant in this role. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his congratulations to the Prime Minister on behalf of the people of Uttar Pradesh.
In a letter addressed to PM Modi, CM Yogi expressed heartfelt wishes for his successful 12-year tenure dedicated to national service, good governance, and public welfare. He expressed confidence that under Modi’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh will continue to contribute significantly to nation-building.
The Chief Minister highlighted that under Modi’s successful leadership, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a remarkable blend of faith and economy. Key achievements include the establishment of Ram Lalla at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya and the successful restoration of Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Modi’s guiding principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas” has provided new direction, momentum, and confidence to India’s development over the past 12 years. The nation has set new benchmarks in service, security, governance, and prosperity. Inspired by this, Uttar Pradesh is making unprecedented strides in public welfare, governance, and inclusive development, playing a leading role in realizing the vision of a “Developed India.”
Yogi further noted that the benefits of welfare schemes initiated under Modi’s guidance have reached millions in Uttar Pradesh. The Swachh Bharat Mission has led to the construction of over 30 million toilets, while the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has provided permanent housing to around 6.5 million families. The Ayushman Bharat scheme has offered health coverage to nearly 100 million eligible citizens. Through the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and the National Food Security Act, approximately 150 million people are receiving free rations. The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has liberated 18.6 million women from smoke, and over 30 million farmers have received direct financial assistance through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. Various farmer-friendly programs like the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and Soil Health Card have significantly contributed to increasing production, productivity, and farmers’ income.
The Chief Minister also mentioned that under Modi’s visionary leadership, Uttar Pradesh has achieved remarkable milestones in employment and skill development. Over 900,000 youths have been appointed to government positions through a transparent process under the Mission Employment initiative. Additionally, skill development programs have trained and placed 2.5 million youths according to industry needs. Investment-driven industrial development, MSME support, One District One Product (ODOP) initiatives, startups, and self-employment schemes have created over 3 million jobs and self-employment opportunities, making the youth a key partner in the state’s development journey.
Yogi added that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a leading state in modern infrastructure development under Modi’s guidance. Projects like the 12-lane Delhi-Meerut Expressway, the Delhi-Meerut RRTS, and the country’s first inland waterway have enhanced connectivity. Today, Uttar Pradesh is recognized as the “Expressway State” due to its world-class expressway network.
The CM emphasized that under Modi’s inspiration, Uttar Pradesh has established the rule of law. The state is now recognized for being free from mafia, riots, and fear. Businessmen, investors, and women feel secure. Improved law and order and a favorable investment climate have positioned Uttar Pradesh as one of the most attractive investment destinations in the country. As a result, the state’s economy has nearly tripled since 2017, per capita income has seen a threefold increase, and the unemployment rate has dropped from approximately 18% to around 3%.
On this momentous occasion, Yogi reaffirmed his commitment that Uttar Pradesh will continue to work with dedication and resolve towards building a “Developed Uttar Pradesh” in alignment with the vision of a “Developed India,” contributing its best to nation-building.
