Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Supports Dattatreya Hosabales Statements on Historical Context and Education

Bareilly, April 25: Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi has expressed his views on various issues related to the RSS, religious rhetoric, population, and education. He responded to statements made by RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, highlighting several key points.

Maulana Razvi stated that Hosabale’s assertion made in Washington D.C. (that Hindus have never attacked anyone) is entirely accurate. He emphasized that India’s history supports this claim, indicating that Hindus have never imposed war on others. He also noted that the history of Islam shows no conflict with Hindus, Sanatan Dharma, Arya Samaj, Buddhism, Jainism, or Sikhism. He pointed out that historical confrontations involving Islam primarily occurred with Jews and Christians, and the current global conflicts (such as the U.S.-Israel versus Iran) should be viewed in this context.

Supporting Mohan Bhagwat’s statement about making India a global leader, Maulana Razvi stressed the importance of national development. He asserted that as India progresses, all its residents—whether Hindu or Muslim—will benefit.

Regarding the Babri Masjid-Ram Mandir dispute, he mentioned that Muslims accepted the Supreme Court’s decision and acknowledged the construction of the Ram Mandir with a heavy heart. However, he firmly stated that no compromises will be accepted concerning other mosques, such as Gyanvapi in Varanasi and Eidgah in Mathura.

In response to statements made by Dhirendra Shastri, Maulana Razvi remarked that his comments often incite controversy and promote division within society. He asserted that there should be no objections to the number of children one chooses to have, as it is a personal right.

Maulana Razvi also raised concerns about alleged discrimination against students during the Common Entrance Test (CET) in Bengaluru. He described the treatment of students regarding the sacred thread (Janeu) as unjust and contrary to constitutional values.

He called on the state government to take strict action in this matter, ensuring that the future of students from any religion is not compromised. He emphasized the need for a fair and just environment for the bright future of children.
