Increased Buyer Participation at the 139th Canton Fair, Preparations for Phase Three Complete

Beijing, April 29: According to the latest data released by the China Foreign Trade Center, approximately 245,000 buyers and traders from 219 countries and regions participated in the first two phases of the 139th Canton Fair, also known as the China Import and Export Fair, by 5 PM on April 27. This marks a 2.2% increase compared to the same period of the previous fair.

Additionally, 140 industry and commerce organizations from various countries and regions formed delegations to attend the fair. A total of 344 leading enterprises from major countries, including the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan, also participated, reflecting a 4.9% increase from the last fair’s similar period.

The second phase of the 139th Canton Fair primarily focused on high-quality home decoration. This phase featured a total exhibition area of 515,000 square meters, accommodating 25,000 stalls.

The third phase of the fair is scheduled to take place from May 1 to May 5. This phase will showcase products related to toys, maternity and infant goods, textiles, stationery, as well as health and entertainment items.
