Jakarta, April 29: A promotional event for the English edition of ‘Xi Jinping: Governance of China’ Volume 5 took place on Tuesday in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Attendees agreed that Volume 5 reflects the latest developments in Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era. It serves as an authentic work for the international community to understand contemporary China.
Currently, China has embarked on a new journey with its 15th Five-Year Plan, while Indonesia continues to make steady progress towards its ‘Golden Indonesia 2045’ vision. Joint efforts by both nations to promote strategic synergy and deepen development cooperation will not only benefit the people of both countries but also play a significant role in strengthening the Global South and improving the global governance system.
The event was jointly organized by the Chinese State Council’s Information Office, Indonesia’s Ministry of Population and Mobility, China’s Foreign Language Publishing House, and the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia. Approximately 200 representatives from publishing, think tanks, media, and other sectors participated, including guests from China and Indonesia.
