Mumbai, April 29: Renowned for his comedy and powerful performances, actor Shreyas Talpade is currently on a spiritual journey. He recently visited the famous Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga temple in Madhya Pradesh.
On Tuesday, the actor shared glimpses of his trip on Instagram, where he appeared immersed in devotion within the temple premises. He captured moments of his visit and sought blessings from Mahadev.
Sharing his experience, Talpade expressed that the energy of Omkareshwar is truly remarkable. He wrote, “A heartfelt thank you to Rishi Patel Ji and Agarwal Ji for this divine visit to Mahadev Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga. The energy of this place can only be experienced; it’s difficult to express in words.”
Through his post, he conveyed his joy, feeling fortunate to have the opportunity to worship at this sacred site. He added, “May Bholenath bless us all. Har Har Mahadev.”
The Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga is located on the banks of the Narmada River in Khandwa district, Madhya Pradesh. It is situated on an island known as ‘Mandhata’ or ‘Shivpuri’ and is considered the fourth major Jyotirlinga among the twelve dedicated to Lord Shiva. Notably, this island resembles the shape of ‘Om’. Here, Lord Shiva is enshrined as a self-manifested Shivling, and visiting the Mamleshwar (Amaleshwar) temple is also deemed significant.
Shreyas Talpade will soon be seen alongside actress Kajal Aggarwal in the socio-national drama ‘The India Story’. This film highlights the severe humanitarian and environmental crises caused by the misuse of pesticides and chemicals in agriculture.
Directed by Chetan D.K., the story is written and produced by Sagar B. Shinde. The film will be released worldwide by ZEE Studios, available in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
