Bhopal, June 24: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the state-level cyber awareness campaign ‘Safe Click 2.0’ on June 24 at Ravindra Bhawan in Bhopal. This initiative aims to protect citizens from cyber crimes and promote responsible digital behavior.
The Madhya Pradesh Police is spearheading this campaign, targeting the general public, students, youth, women, and senior citizens to raise awareness about cyber fraud and online scams. Director General of Police Kailash Makwana will also be present at the event.
During the program, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed with ‘India Child Protection’ to strengthen collaboration in cyber security and child protection. Additionally, a special cyber awareness booklet designed for school children will be launched, along with an awareness video for the ‘Safe Click 2.0’ campaign. A street play focused on cyber security will also be performed to effectively educate the public.
Chief Minister Yadav will flag off a ‘Cyber Awareness Rath’ to conduct extensive awareness activities across various districts. This vehicle will travel throughout the state, delivering messages about safe digital practices and vigilance.
The Madhya Pradesh Police urges citizens to report any suspicious online activity immediately to the National Cyber Helpline number 1930 or through the official website, contributing to the creation of a safer digital society.
