Bhopal, June 17: The NEET re-exam in Madhya Pradesh is set to take place on June 21 across 283 examination centers in 30 districts. In light of this, special security measures and arrangements have been implemented. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav held a meeting with officials to review the preparations, ensuring a successful and transparent conduct of the exam. He emphasized that the state government is in constant contact with the central government to prevent any issues for students.
CM Yadav stated, “We are ensuring that students do not face any difficulties again. Roll numbers and identity checks for students arriving from 11 AM onwards will be conducted during the exam. Considering the large influx of candidates, bus services will be arranged in major cities.”
He also mentioned that necessary facilities will be provided for parents outside the examination centers. Refreshment centers and waiting areas are being set up so that parents can comfortably wait until the exam concludes.
To maintain the confidentiality and security of the exam, technical resources including jammers will be utilized. Yadav remarked, “The Government of India is committed to conducting the exam fairly and securely in the interest of the students.”
Meanwhile, Rajiv Ranjan, the national spokesperson for JDU, stated that this time the NEET exam will be conducted in a fully transparent manner. He noted that special measures have been taken by the central government and relevant agencies to ensure the security of question papers.
Ranjan asserted that strict measures have been implemented to prevent any irregularities during the exam. He claimed that due to the secure transportation and monitoring of question papers, the likelihood of paper leaks is extremely low this time. He warned that strict action would be taken against anyone jeopardizing students’ futures.
Regarding the bungalow of the Lalu family, he mentioned that former Chief Minister Rabri Devi has been allocated a government residence in accordance with her constitutional status. He stated that the building construction department allocates residences based on established rules. He added, “Rabri Devi has been allotted a government residence as the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council, which is sufficiently large. The request for a special bungalow is therefore perplexing.” He emphasized that all decisions in Bihar are made according to rules and procedures, and everyone must adhere to them.
On the Shiv Sena (UBT) front, he noted a lack of communication within the party. According to him, MPs, MLAs, and workers do not have adequate opportunities to meet with the top leadership and express their concerns. He claimed this has led to reports of discontent and division within the party.
Reacting to the Faisal Khan and Roshan Anand controversy, Ranjan described it as an unfortunate incident. He stated that the Bihar government has directed a fair and transparent investigation into the matter. He added, “Patna police are investigating. Further action will be based on the facts and evidence that emerge. The law will take its course, and no guilty party will be spared.”
